CLASSIC LEOPARD
When you head to London Fashion Week Festival and the only thing you both buy are Vintage Leopard Dolce & Gabbana coats then it says something. We both have loads of leopard, I was wearing a leopard coat but then bought another one!! tantamount to the fact you just cant have too much.
I know that not everyone will agree with me on this one but it truly is a classic - you can wear leopard print whatever the season and I don't know a colour that you cant wear it with. It is the new black! Retailers have cottoned on to everyone needing a little bit of leopard in their life making a variety of options ensuring it becomes part of everyone's wardrobe. So make sure you stick to the rule of no boobs and /or bum
Here's the best of the High Street and some ideas on how to integrate it into your wardrobe.
This sweater ticks all the boxes, a hint of leopard combined with the on trend slogan that's everywhere at the moment, teamed with this buttery soft leather skirt and retro trainers.
Zara Asymmetric Leather Skirt (Limited sizes now available)
I've got the tee of this print and its such good quality with a huge nod to Gucci, hoodies are all over the catwalk, just throw it over a leopard maxi dress. At #LFW I took one of my old coloured string bags great for all your shopping and expand like crazy, you can get loads of colours at eBay but this is a super cute one with wooden handles from @Topshop
Loving lilac and it looks great with leopard, this is actually a dress from @HM but its short and would look fantastic over these wide leg trousers, balance it out with Air and Grace Copeland trainers.
If wide leg trousers aren't your thing a leopard print skirt is more wearable. This is a fantastic one from Zara and the same print as the dress. Team this High waist midi skirt with front box pleat detail with a simple black polo and heels.
A more expensive option is the Second Female Florence skirt, a midi tiered skirt with a dipped hem and elasticated waist.
If you're looking for something more maxi, try this one at Shein, the sizing can be a little hit or miss but worth it for the £12 price. Wear with a simple t-shirt (plain, coloured or Breton) or sweater.
Every year I get the obligatory Hush joggers, great for lounging, working from home, throwing on after the gym but they actually dress up really well for lunch, coffee and shopping. Don't be scared to mix minimal prints, flowers look great with leopard (very D&G) and are everywhere on the High Street for Spring Summer.
Smarten up your Mom Jeans and tee with a boyfriend fit leopard blazer..
I love a dress, its so easy way to throw one piece in to your wardrobe and be ready, its a bold statement but you can dress it down by throwing a biker or chunky jumper over the top. Personally I'd team with trainers or in this weather snow boots but you can dress up with heels or boots
If you're looking for a dress but don't want to spend a fortune, check out Shein and this Maxi dress coming in at £21. If you want to wear now add a polo underneath and thermals.
If you're animal shy, one of the best ways of introducing leopard into your wardrobe is teaming it with black.
This is one of my favourite looks - I am totally in love with the retro feel on this dress, again it is super short so I've teamed it with jersey maxi skirt with pockets (anything with a pocket) and Calvin Klein Nylon cross body bag for that athluxe look. In this weather also perfect to double up as a base layer.
As the freezing temperatures continue having a classic leopard print coat is a perfect addition to your wardrobe, just throw on over jeans and you're good to go.
If you're looking for something warmer, this is amazing, very similar to Shrimps which retail at £800, in the sale absolute bargain. Set have a very similar coat as the D&G coat Steph bought at London Fashion Week, its in the sale. Fluffy faux fur leopard-skin print and collar in a contrasting colour
You don't have to go traditional colours - I cant get enough of this look - all the blues...
The classic combo - leopard and red. With a zip neck and gorgeous relaxed fit, it is a cool and easy way to add texture to any look.
Accessories
The easiest way to add leopard to your day to day wardrobe is through accessories. Anything goes as leopard goes with any colour.
Throwing in a curve ball not the normal leopard colour way but on trend belt bag and leather from Topshop. Topshop Leopard Purse Belt
Luna Love London is a small business that I stumbled across at London Fashion Week - Belt, bag and Leopard. Love the turquoise and leopard colour way. This stylish range of belt bags ensures you stay fully on trend and with a multifunctional design it can be worn as a belt bag with or without the belt.
Leopard Hide Belt bag with black and a gold clasp. Multifunctional design enables the bag to be worn as a belt bag with or without the belt. Features three positions for storing credit cards inside the smaller front pocket. Adjustable and removable belt in leopard hide hair.
Turquoise hide hair belt bag with a leopard hide hair lid; secured with a gold clasp.
If you're a follower on Instagram I love myself a beanie, wear with neutrals and you're good to go in this weather. Buy large on the Next Older girls hat and it will fit a dream.
Add a splash of colour by wearing a GiftPop Boutique Cowhide belt
Literally dip your toe in by covering them in leopard from flats and heels to my favourites at the moment New Air and Grace Cru Leopard and I'm saving for these pair of Golden Goose High Top.
