BEST DAY EVER IN BATH
For lovers of all things fashion, the Fashion Museum is the ideal place for you. It's a real place of beauty, detail an craftsmanship.
It all started in the 1960's with Fashion historian Doris Langley Moore’s personal collection of men’s and women’s clothes, her donations became the basis of the Fashion Museum. With over 165 pieces ranging from the 17th century to the present day it's well worth a visit with key highlights from @maryquant_official @alexandermcqueen @dior and @louisvuiton.
Every year the 'Dress of the Year' is chosen and this year the talent on show is no exception, two stunning looks have been chosen displaying recent trends from @louisvuitton and @dior
Royal Women The piste de resistance- is the Royal Women collection (on display until the end of April), examining how Alexandra, Mary, Elizabeth and Margaret not only influenced style but how they played a key role in the British Monarchy. From the Queen Mothers dove grey satin ball gown from 1954 to the effortless style of Princess Margaret wearing @dior and #normanhartnell Oh to rummage in the boxes and boxes behind the displays - it’s truly breathtaking and many wouldn’t look out of place today.
