Scandi-chic labels are everywhere at the moment. Casual but effortless chic, borrowing some style tips from Scandi girls is never a bad idea. There's are a plethora of new Scandinavian designers to lust over and Eytys is one of them.
Already stocked by Selfridges, Matchesfashion, Browns, LN-CC, Liberty, Net-a-Porter and Goodhood, is a cult footwear brand that opened its first store in Stockholm in 2016 but found overnight success in 2013 with its signature thick white soled sneakers.
At first, the label had only 25 stockists, but today Eytys has over 250 stockists worldwide, and the founders believe sneakers and denim are at the core of the modern 'genderless' wardrobe. Produced in Japan and China they are using fabrics that include Japanese wool twill, Belgian industrial nylon and dead-stock denim found in a Hong Kong mill.
