Hush New Spring Stock Lands
To be truthful I haven't bought much from Hush lately, as Hush grew and expanded to John Lewis I was seeing everyone at school drop off starting to wear key Insta pieces which put me off slightly.
HOWEVER never to be put off with the challenge of shopping and drooling over the new stock arriving I'm always up for choosing key pieces that can transcend the seasons and last more than one year, so here are my top Hush buys..
Emerald Green is back for Summer 2018, its not to everyone's taste but just yesterday I was trying on my See by Chloe tiered green skirt - its too short for now (more high summer) but I'd clocked that I really need to have a longer version. As if by magic the gorgeous Santana Skirt caught my eye, its not a delicate colour but its strong, vibrant and fresh, its in my bag and boy I cant wait to wear with neutrals and a whole load of colour.
Stripes are a huge trend for spring, both stylish and flattering. The more graphic the stripe the better and this new Striped Lurex Jumper ticks all the boxes, its shiny, metallic, green, and pastel. A summer knit to throw on over jeans, dress or wear with the Santana skirt.
Canary Yellow is coming back for summer, its wild and vibrant, and a real energizing tone. If you're a little colour shy wear this Lace Insert Maxi Skirt with neutrals (classic white tee/ shirt or dress down with minimalistic hoodie and trainers) or mimic the catwalk (its been teamed with purple) and go bold with matching Lace Trim Cami for a gorgeous summer look.
Lavender / Lilac will dominate the whole summer season. It's romantic, its elegant, and you can pretty much wear it with anything. This short sleeve sloppy dolman is a great way to introduce into your wardrobe and bridge the gap across the seasons.
Camouflage is one of those patterns that never really goes away. My wardrobe staples are the Camo Military Jacket bought last season its something that I wear come rain or shine, its perfect on its own or layering under winter coats for an extra layer.
Comfy stylish joggers are a go to for nighttime and weekend lounging and the Loop Back Printed Joggers have a new print and colourway, make it casual but just adding trainers.
