UTERQUE BOUTIQUE: LISBON
Uterqüe in Latin means "one thing and the other" or "both" and was set up in 2008 (Spanish Business Group including Zara - Uterqüe is constantly written about in the glossies as being Zara high end sister) dedicated to accessories and ensuring they have their rightful place in the wardrobe. Since then it has evolved to include Ready To Wear collection in quality materials with the same attention to detail.
Limited-production collections, become must-have items resulting in garments that not only make you stand out from the crowd but also stand the test of time.
With a change of scenery, combining an airport drop off with a little retail therapy and a cheeky trip to Lisbon it was a real delight to find an Uterqüe boutique. Lots of photos later, scanning every rail for cool buys, here are some of my favourites. I have to confess I didn't buy anything as nothing was in my size and I just cant get my head around having to wear AW17 clothes yet.
Here are my favourites from the collection. The labelled ones are the ones in my basket for thinking about, I try and find cheaper alternatives first, deliberate and then you may see me wearing them soon.
Smocked knit cashmere sweater. Straight, wide cut with a boat neck. Overlock detail on hem, cuffs, collar and seams.
T-shirt with round neckline and long sleeves. Features long sleeves with ruffled trims, lace fabric with lining in the centre made from a slightly elastic fabric and back button fastening.
Tulle midi dress. Sleeveless with plunging V-neck. Stretch band at the waist. Lining. IN THE BASKET
Sleeveless dress made of a pleated fabric with a shiny finish. Features a midi silhouette, V-neck in front and back and cinched waist with an elastic ribbon.
Long dress made of flowing fabric with a floral print. Features ruffle trims in the front, thin straps on a scoop neck, an oval-shaped opening in the front and the option of wearing it off-the-shoulder.
Midi dress made of a flowing fabric. Features ruffle trims in the front, a crossover design that ties into a bow at the side, short sleeves and a V-neck.
Tailored, beige jacket made of high quality leather with front zip-up fastening. Features a section along the bottom with ruffled trims, which is detachable.

Straight fit blouse made of polka dot print organza. Features round neckline, long sleeves and small button-up fastening. I love how they style this, but there is an Ivory White Company Dress that this would look amazing over!!!
Sneakers made of cowhide leather with a nappa finish. The design includes decorative star pins and faux pearls on the laces, sheepskin leather lining and leather insoles.
Mid-heel shoes made of cowhide leather. The design features gold metal studs covering the back, a decorative studded strap and bow across the instep, adjustable buckled ankle straps, painted stiletto heels and caprine leather lining and insoles. IN THE BASKET
Low heel shoes made from sheepskin leather. They feature gold studs covering the back and upper and four leather adjustable buckled straps for fastening. Zip fastening in the back. Caprine leather lining and insole. IN THE BASKET
Long green fur collar made of lamb's leather. Features pleated ribbons that fasten into a bow and optional hook and eye fastening. Just think you need a splash of colour around your biker jacket, blazer or denim. Love it! IN THE BASKET
